So, these designs were an idea that I just couldn’t get out of my head after thinking about Zenitsu (Best Boy)’s fight in the anime, and the ‘If you can only do one thing, hone it to the utmost’ ethos. It just really struck something with me.

I’ve also been wanting to try my hand at decorative text designs for a while. So, I decided to try making Kimetsu no Yaiba designs with quotes that match the characters somehow, personality, ethos, etc.

Shinobu’s quote is inspired by her backstory. I still think there’s something admirable about her efforts to smile through her anger, and to try to be a genuinely nicer person. It’s not easy to change yourself, and most probably don’t really try all that much. It also adds to her character. I admit her niceness annoyed me at first because of how fake it seemed, but when I heard her backstory and realized it seems fake because she IS faking, I thought it was a wonderful touch.
