Okay, so this one started out as a joke-prompt a friend gave me to draw on a tipsy Friday, but I really liked the sketch I came up with and I’ve had a lot of fun finishing it.
I love retro-future style things, like the Jetsons and Space Channel 5, and it was great to incorporate some of those elements into the design. I especially had fun with the floating hoop aesthetic on the human girl, and details like the rainbow flag patch on her alien girlfriend. Last but not least, adding the rainbow aesthetic and getting all the colors to hang together nicely.
Anyway, this was a blast to draw, and I hope people will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
